I went home over the weekend. I'm from Mason, Texas. It's a small rural town.
My parents and I went to the football game on Friday night. Our football team won the state championship last year (division 1a) and are ranked number 1 in the state this year again. Everyone works really hard (coaches & players) and the community and surrounding communites are all supportive and proud of the boys.
The Mason "Punchers" beat the Comfort "Bobcats" pretty good yesterday. It was 44 to 0 at halftime. It was just plain nasty, lol. The punchers are the purple team by the way.
I thought I would share. That's about all I did so far this weekend that could be considered "exciting and cool". Mason (where i'm from) is not a bad little town though. It's a nice change to be in the country for awhile after being in a city area all the time.
